MWR's Tickets & Travel (formerly known as ITT) is located in the Community Recreation Center along with Gear Issue which offers outdoor rental (golf clubs, kayaks, camping gear, snorkel equipment, beach gear) and more. We offer discount tickets to popular island activities with military discounts such as luaus, zipline tours, helicopter rides, Napali cruises and more. Tickets & Travel is a great source of information about Kauai, PMRF and MWR.

ALOHA FRIDAY ART NIGHTS ON KRESS STREET
Every Friday, Kress Street Art Night in Lihue offers live music, art, and some local favorite eats. Artists and muralist are welcome to come and create their own mural. Sign up at the Kauai Mural’s website.
ALOHA FRIDAY LEI MAKING WORKSHOP
Free lei-making workshops are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays by appointment at the West Kaua‘i Technology & Visitors Center from 9:30-11 a.m. Come learn how to create the Hawaiian symbol of aloha. For reservations and more info call 808-338-1332.
COCONUT MARKETPLACE ENTERTAINMENT

HANAPEPE ART NIGHT
Every Friday, Hanapepe Town’s galleries open their doors for an evening of artistic adventure. Stroll through Main Street and enjoy fine art and live entertainment. You can also purchase local goodies and crafts as you make your way through the galleries. You’ll find the perfect souvenir from your visit to Kaua‘i. Friday nights, 6 p.m. Admission is free. KAUAI ISLAND CRAFTERS FAIR
Held on the second and last Saturday of every month at 3215 Kapule Hwy, Lihue, HI 96766. Quality hand made products at Kauai’s local craft pair event. A group of local crafters and artisans gather monthly to showcase their crafts. Artists proudly present products like carvings, exquisite shell jewelry with silver or gold, sewn items like Hawaiian print quilts, watercolor paintings, scenic Kauai photographs, and many more. KAUAI MUSEUM TOUR
From Monday, Wednesday and Friday, docents provide interpretation of Kaua‘i and Ni‘ihau culture as they lead tours through the museum’s galleries. Free tour with admission. Tour times are from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. For more information, call 245-6931.
KEASA STAR WATCH
Kaua‘i is an ideal location for astronomical observation. The Kaua‘i Educational Association for Science & Astronomy conducts a monthly star watch in Kaumakani at the softball field at sunset. MAKAI MUSIC & ART FESTIVAL

NATIONAL TROPICAL BOTANICAL GARDEN’S ALOHA MARKET
Held every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 4425 Lawai Road, Koloa, across from Spouting Horn. NTBG offers a weekly market with local vendors that offer everything from fresh fruit, vegetables, spices, jewelry, clothing, household goods, and art. At 12:30 pm there is a free hula show. OHANA DAY

OLD KAPA’A TOWN ART WALK
Kapa’a Town’s Art Walk happens every first Saturday of the month from 5 to 9 p.m. The popular event stretches from the First Hawaiian Church to Kela’s Glass on the Kuhio Highway. Locals and visitors gather to enjoy tasty food by food trucks, shop crafts and treasures created by local artists. A mix of local vendors and non-profit organizations provide wonderful products and services for you as local musicians play for your enjoyment.
TAHITIAN DANCE
