TICKETS & TRAVEL 

 

MWR's Tickets & Travel (formerly known as ITT) is located in the Community Recreation Center along with Gear Issue which offers outdoor rental (golf clubs, kayaks, camping gear, snorkel equipment, beach gear) and more.  We offer discount tickets to popular island activities with military discounts such as luaus, zipline tours, helicopter rides, Napali cruises and more. Tickets & Travel is a great source of information about Kauai, PMRF and MWR.
Please note:  the Tickets & Travel office is a cashless facility.  Credit/debit cards are accepted for payment.

    WAIMEA FIRST FRIDAY
    Hoffgaurd Park Waimea
    The Waimea Kauai First Friday Market is a vibrant monthly event that celebrates local culture, creativity, and community. Held on the first Friday of each month, the market features a variety of local vendors offering handmade crafts, fresh produce, delicious food, and live entertainment. It's a fantastic opportunity to explore Waimea's unique charm, connect with local artisans, and enjoy a lively atmosphere filled with music and camaraderie.

     

    HANAPEPE ART NIGHT
    Every Friday, Hanapepe Town’s galleries open their doors for an evening of artistic adventure. Stroll through Main Street and enjoy fine art and live entertainment. You can also purchase local goodies and crafts as you make your way through the galleries. You’ll find the perfect souvenir from your visit to Kaua‘i. Friday nights, 6pm.     KEASA STAR WATCH
    Kaua‘i is an ideal location for astronomical observation. The Kaua‘i Educational Association for Science & Astronomy conducts a monthly star watch in Kaumakani at the softball field at sunset. KEASA also does a astronomical viewing event on Barking Sands monthly for KEASA Members. To sign up to be a member please visit their site. FMI on dates and times, call (808)332-7827.

     

    KAUAI CULINARY MARKET
    Every Wednesday 3:30pm-6:00pm
    Kukuiula Shopping Center
    Listen to live music as you the beautifully landscaped grounds of Kukuiula Shopping Center. Farmers and small businesses offer a variety of fresh, locally grown produce, pies, jams and other food options. For more information, call 808-742-9545

     

    NATIONAL TROPICAL BOTANICAL GARDEN’S ALOHA MARKET
    Every Thursday from 10:00am to 2:00pm
    4425 Lawai Road, Koloa, across from Spouting Horn
    NTBG offers a weekly market with local vendors that offer everything from fresh fruit, vegetables, spices, jewelry, clothing, household goods, and art. At 12:30 pm there is a free hula show. For more information call (808) 742-2623

     

    TAHITIAN DANCE
    Urahutia Productions presents free Tahitian dance performances every Monday and Thursday from 4:30pm-5:15pm at Po‘ipu Shopping Village. Performances are held under the banyan tree. FMI call (808)742-2831.

     

    KAUAI MUSEUM TOUR
    From Monday, Wednesday and Friday, docents provide interpretation of Kaua‘i and Ni‘ihau culture as they lead tours through the museum’s galleries. Free tour with admission. Tour times are from 10:30am to 12:00pm. FMI call 245-6931.

     

    OHANA DAY
    Families and visitors are invited to join Kaua‘i Museum for a day of demonstrations, exhibits and fun. View native Hawaiian art and artifacts preserved in the main exhibit. Held on the first Saturday of every month. Admission is free. FMI call 245-6931.

     

    ALOHA FRIDAY ART NIGHTS ON KRESS STREET
    Every Friday
    Kress Street, Lihue, HI 96766
    Kress Street Art Night offers live music, art, and some local favorite eats. Artists and muralist are welcome to come and create their own mural. Sign up at the Kauai Mural’s website.

     

    LOCAL TREASURES MARKETPLACE
    Every first Sunday 9:00pm-1:00pm

    The Local Treasures Marketplace is an outdoor market that offers a gathering of Local art, baked goods, various culinary options, and fresh goods from farmers. For more information, call 808-635-4134

     

    KAUAI ISLAND CRAFTERS FAIR
    Second & last Saturday of every month
    3215 Kapule Hwy Lihue, HI 96766
    Quality hand made products at Kauai’s local craft pair event. A group of local crafters and artisans gather monthly to showcase their crafts. Artists proudly present products like carvings, exquisite shell jewelry with silver or gold, sewn items like Hawaiian print quilts, watercolor paintings, scenic Kauai photographs, and many more.     COCONUT MARKETPLACE ENTERTAINMENT
    The Coconut Marketplace is an open-air market, which houses several different shops and restaurants. Visit the amphitheater Monday through Friday for Hula shows, music, farmer’s market and family-friendly events. FMI call (808) 822-3641.

     

    OLD KAPA’A TOWN ART WALK
    Kapa’a Town’s Art Walk happens every first Saturday of the month from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. The popular evert stretches from the First Hawaiian Church to Kela’s Glass on the Kuhio Highway. Locals and visitors gather to enjoy tasty food by food trucks, shop crafts and treasures created by local artists. A mix of local vendors and non-profit organizations provide wonderful products and services for you as local musicians play for your enjoyment.

     

    PRINCEVILLE FARMERS AND ARTS MARKET

    Every Saturday from 9:30am to 12:30pm
    This weekly market at Prince Alert Park in Princeville features locally grown produce, honey, and hand-crafted goods from local vendors. Browse through a vast array of Kauai designed and created products. Also enjoy live music and local food vendors.

     

    MAKAI MUSIC & ART FESTIVAL
    4080 Lei O Papa Rd, Princeville, HI
    Every Wednesday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on the lawn of Makai Golf Course in Princeville. You will experience music from Kauai’s many talented entertainers. Shop an assortment of jewelry, crafts, art, and many more by local vendors. For more information call (808)826-1912.

    HANAPEPE’S BIGGEST LITTLE CARNIVAL
    Saturday Nov 9 & Sunday Nov 10 10:00am-6:00pm
    Puolo Rd, Hanapepe
    Hanapepe Pop Warner and Youth Baseball Association presents the 5th annual Hanapepe Biggest Little Carnival. Join them for family fun with Kid Rides, delicious local food, crafts and live entertainment.

     

    2024 KAUAI STYLE HAWAIIAN SLACK KEY FESTIVAL

    The Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort & Spa is hosting the 32nd annual Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival. This years event is featuring some of Hawaii’s finest hartist in the Slack Key Guitar and Hawaiin Music Genre.

    LIGHTS ON RICE PARADE
    Friday December 6 6:30pm
    This must see yearly event is one of Kauai’s largest attractions. Fun for the whole family. Bring your own chairs and place yourself along Rice Street. Get there early because KPD officers will be closing the roads leading to Rice Street at 5:30pm.

     

    WAIMEA LIGHT PARADE
    Saturday December 21 6:30pm
    This event started out as a family tradition and the Waimea community continues this tradition so all families can enjoy. Waimea’s annual parade starts at Waimea Canyon School, goes through the Main Street and ends at Hofgaard Park with a concert. Get there early because KPD officers will be closing the roads leading to Waimea town at 5:30pm to reopen at 9:30.
