Celebrating Military Children
FREE
Every Tuesday in April
The Defense Department celebrates military children during the month of April. There are more than 1.6 million military children who face many challenges and unique experiences as a result of their parents' service. While military members serve around the world, we often forget the challenges faced by their children. Military families move on average every two to three years, impacting military children, who must endure changing schools and support networks. So this month, lets honor them, in celebrating military children and the sacrifices they make.
For the month of April one of the PMRF MWR fitness trainers will host a Kids & Parent Workout Class every Tuesday at the basketball courts from 5 to 6 p.m. Each session will be a different class, so both child and parent can experience a variety. PLUS, for every session a child attends, they will earn bingo spins for a chance to win an awesome prize!
