Blue vs Khaki Makahiki/Survivor Competition

In honor of Military Appreciation Month, the PMRF Fitness team will be holding a series of FREE sport competitions at the Fitness Center.The Makahiki games were the ancient Hawaiian version of the Olympics and the contestants included trained athletes, ali’i and commoners.These contests helped warriors to stay active, prepare for wartime and also served as training and practice opportunities for commoners in the event they were called on to fight in the future. Get your teams together and be ready to compete for bragging rights. Open to all PMRF Active Duty Navy 

May 6: 3 point basketball competition at the basketball court (5 single participants) 

May 13: Pickleball doubles competition at basketball court (3 pairs) 

May 20: Beach Volleyball at Shenanigans (6 on 6) 

May 29: Team Makahiki/Survivor Challenge
